Wash-bay to service-bay chemistry

Nukleen as the shampoo (concentrated, so dilution control pays), Foamolene for upholstery and carpets by hand, Windowklene for glass, Silprolease on dash, trim and tyres to finish, and Air Sanitizer to leave the cabin genuinely fresh rather than perfumed over. For volume exterior lines, GPL Detergent at the pre-soak keeps cost per wash down. All of it comes in 5 L and 25 L so a busy bay is not forever opening retail bottles.

Degrease cold or warm — never hot — with MPC Degreaser applied to the greasy areas, agitated, and rinsed with controlled low-pressure water while keeping direct spray off connectors, alternators and ECUs. Follow with Solvene 33 for electrical connections that need residue-free cleaning, applied with the battery isolated and allowed to evaporate fully. The classic damage pattern is pressure-washing electronics, not the chemistry: control the water and the products are the easy part.

If the cooling system is original to a hard-water region, assume scale: circulate Magnus 614 radiator-cleaning powder per label, drain, flush until clear, and refill with correct coolant — then keep the system protected (CCW 5 in heavy-vehicle closed circuits). Namibian summer exposes marginal cooling brutally, and a scale flush is the cheapest intervention that actually moves gauge temperature. Persistent heat after a proper flush points at thermostat, fan or pump — mechanical, not chemical.

Phoskleen is the core: rust remover and metal conditioner that doubles as the primer base before spray-painting — treat, rinse, dry, paint, and the repair outlasts the panel around it. Chloracid 90 handles pickling-strength jobs on parts, and Magnus 645 runs the de-rusting bath for volumes of components — prime or paint the same day, because bare de-rusted steel flash-rusts in hours. Coastal fleets should treat rust as scheduled work, not damage — the mist never stops.
