Industries we serve
Cernol’s product range is literally organised by industry — the factory maintains a segmentation for each sector it supplies, from transport depots and mine workshops to export fish factories and school hostels. These pages are those segmentations, published: what each industry runs on, and why.

Automotive & Fleet
Dealership valet bays, car washes, government vehicle fleets and service workshops share a chemical list that Cernol has been blending for decades: Nukleen car shampoo, GPL at the wash bay, Magnus chemistry in the service bay, tyre and trim care, and the rust and radiator products that keep older fleets on Namibia’s roads. The automotive list is the transport sheet at passenger-vehicle scale.

Engineering & Workshops
From jobbing workshops in Prosperita to heavy engineering serving the mines, Namibian workshops run on a familiar chemical stores list: degreasers, solvents, hand cleaners, floor powder, grease and crack-testing kits. Cernol manufactures most of that list in Windhoek and carries the agency lines (Ardrox, Penetone) for the rest — one supplier, one delivery, technical answers from the people who blend the product.

Fire Brigades & Airports
Namibia’s municipal brigades, airport rescue and fire-fighting services and industrial fire teams buy their working chemistry from Cernol: RLF 4 training foam for the drill calendar, Ardrox NDT kits for the equipment-certification cycle, and the everyday station list — appliance wash, silicones, degreasers, floor powder and quarters housekeeping — that keeps vehicles, equipment and crews serviceable.

Fishing & Marine
The Erongo coast processes most of Namibia’s fish, and its factories face EU export-hygiene inspection while its boats fight salt, fuel bugs and fouled coolers. Cernol covers both sides from one order: the fish-factory hygiene set (Antisep 100, Sypo, PSP Powder, Greasolv, T2 Blue) and the marine workshop chemistry (Magnus, Solvene, Phoskleen, Vecom B80, Chemicide No 7) — stocked at or routed through our Walvis Bay agent minutes from the harbour.

Food & Beverage
Namibia’s food producers — dairies, the breweries, town butcheries, Meatco-scale meat plants and poultry farms — run their hygiene on chemistry Cernol formulates in Windhoek: the 3-step alkaline → acid → sanitizer cycle, chlorinated cleaners for floors and equipment, and the smokehouse, pot-wash and hand-hygiene lines that complete a plant.

Hospitality & Facilities
A Namibian lodge is a hotel, restaurant, laundry, pool operation and water plant on one remote site — and its chemical order should recognise that. Cernol’s hospitality range (its own 2025 catalogue) covers housekeeping, kitchen and laundry in 5 L / 25 L / 5 kg / 25 kg institutional packs, with the pool, boiler and septic chemistry that keeps the back-of-house running, all in one delivery from Windhoek.

Laundries & Dry Cleaners
A commercial laundry is a chemical plant disguised as a service business: wash chemistry matched to temperature, a spotting table with a product per stain family, dry-cleaning consumables, and machines that hard Namibian water quietly scales shut. Cernol blends the whole list in Windhoek and the segmentation sheet for laundries reads accordingly, from Laundet C to Chemperc Extra.

Mining
From the uranium operations of the Erongo to the central copper and gold belt and the southern zinc and diamond fields, Namibian mines run maintenance chemistry hard: membrane filters that scale, earthmoving fleets whose closed cooling circuits corrode, workshops full of grease and dust, and camps that are small towns needing full hygiene supply. The mining segmentation sheet is Cernol’s answer, blended in Windhoek up the road.

Municipal & Water Treatment
Namibian municipalities and town councils are pool operators, fleet owners, fire services and facilities managers at once. Cernol supplies that whole portfolio: chlorination chemistry, public-pool treatment, sewer and drain care, descaling for council infrastructure, and the depot chemistry every municipal workshop consumes — with tender-compliant local manufacture behind it.

Nurseries & Horticulture
A Namibian nursery is a growing operation and a retail shop sharing one gate, and Cernol supplies both sides of it: Vermiculite for propagation and compost aeration, and the full housekeeping set — tea kitchen, toilets, sales-area glass and customer washrooms — that keeps the premises worthy of the plants.

Schools, Hostels & Hospitals
A hostel is a hotel with tighter budgets and harder use; a hospital is a hostel where hygiene failures cost lives. Namibia’s schools, hostels and hospitals clean at scale on government budgets, and the segmentation sheet Cernol maintains for them balances exactly that: effective disinfection (Hydrosan 3%, Tetramine 2008, Sypo), durable floor care, institutional laundry and washroom programmes — manufactured locally and priced for tenders.

Transport & Logistics
Namibia is a trucking country: the Walvis Bay–Gauteng and Trans-Caprivi corridors move the region’s freight through heat, dust and thousands of gravel kilometres. Cernol supplies the depots behind that traffic — wash-bay chemistry by the drum, workshop degreasers and floor powders, diesel-tank biocide, and the depot kitchen and washroom range — all blended in Windhoek, minutes from most fleets’ head offices.
