Cernol Laundry Range: your questions answered

Which Laundet-range powder for which laundry?

A commercial laundry doing hotel and hospital white work at 80 °C+ runs Laundet C; a laundry or institution washing at 60 °C runs Supreme; machines limited to cold and warm cycles (30–50 °C) run Syndet; hand-wash stations use T2 Blue; and Bioblitz is the one-shot low-foam economy powder for 60–80 °C machine work where cost per kilogram decides. Matching powder to actual water temperature is the single biggest quality lever in a laundry.

Why is the spotting kit part of the same brand?

Because stains are where laundries win or lose customers, and spotting only works as a system: identify the stain family, use its named product — P.O.G for oil/paint/grease, Standout for blood and protein, Purple Magic for fugitive dye, Rustaway for iron marks, with Classic doubling as detergent and general spotter — then wash in the matched powder. One supplier for powder and spotters means the chemistries are designed not to fight each other.

How does Namibian hard water affect washing powder choice?

Hard water consumes part of any detergent before it touches the soil, and it deposits iron and mineral marks on linen — the reason Rustaway exists. Cernol powders are built with local water in mind, and Laundry Alkali is the booster we add for heavy-soil loads in hard water. If your laundry draws borehole water, tell us the hardness (or send a sample) and we will set dosing accordingly rather than letting you overdose by rule of thumb.

Do you supply mine and factory on-premise laundries?

Constantly — washing overalls is its own discipline: heavy oil loads (pre-treat with P.O.G), boosted alkalinity (Laundry Alkali with Bioblitz or Laundet C), and T2 Blue at the hand-wash scale. Mines buy the laundry set alongside their workshop chemicals in one Windhoek order, which is precisely the manufacturer advantage — the same delivery truck carries Magnus for the workshop floor and Bioblitz for the change-house laundry.
