Hygiene Consumables & Dispensing: your questions answered
Why buy dispensers from the chemical manufacturer instead of separately?
Because the dispenser and the refill must agree. Cernol’s soap, sanitizer and paper dispensers are chosen to run its own refills — Chemkleen, Antisep 100, jumbo rolls, folded towels — so you are never trapped in a proprietary-cartridge system where the hardware is cheap and the refills are extortionate. One order, one delivery, one account: when the segmentation lists “Dispensers” for every single industry, from transport depots to nurseries, this is why.
What is a double-bucket mopping system and who needs it?
A double-bucket trolley separates wash solution from rinse water: the mop loads clean solution from one bucket and wrings dirty water into the other, so you stop spreading yesterday’s dirt across today’s floor. Food plants, hospitals and kitchens should regard it as standard — single-bucket mopping in a butchery simply relocates bacteria. Cernol supplies the trolley, wringer, mops, wet-floor signs and the floor chemical (Biopine, Magnus 92, Chlordet 110 depending on the floor) as one janitorial kit.
Which gloves for which cleaning job?
Match the glove to the chemical: household latex is fine for washing-up liquids and general cleaners; nitrile resists solvents (Solvene work) and oils where latex dissolves; heavier PVC gauntlets are for acids, descalers and caustic products where splash protection up the forearm matters. Cernol stocks all three alongside masks for dusty or aerosol work. A glove that dissolves in the product it is handling is worse than no glove — workers trust it while it fails.
Can Cernol supply colour-coded cloths for a food-safety system?
Yes — microfibre cloths come in multiple colours precisely so a HACCP-run kitchen or factory can dedicate a colour per zone: for example red for toilets, blue for food-contact surfaces, green for general areas. Colour-coding is one of the cheapest audit wins available: it makes cross-contamination visible at a glance and inspectors look for it. Pair the cloths with zone-matched chemistry — Chlordet 110 in production, Steripine in ablutions — and the whole system reinforces itself.
